PhD students

We have RA/TA-funded PhD positions on the broad areas related to biomaterials design for minimally invasive applications. Candidates with experience and/or interest in (a) synthesis and characterization of polymeric biomaterials (particularly hydrogels), (b) development of wearable and implantable medical devices, (c) in vitro cell culture, and in vivo animal studies are encouraged to apply. Experience and proficiency in graphical design and scientific illustrations is a plus. Prospective students should meet the minimum admission requirements and apply to the Mechanical Engineering program. Applicants should indicate their interest in working with us on the application form.
